Membership Levels
We offer Corporate, Individual or Student Membership; membership benefits vary slightly based on the level:

$300 Corporate membership - corporate members may invite up to four colleagues as their guest to SIETAR regularly scheduled events, except for special events wherein a small charge may be applied for members as well as guests.

$60 Individual membership - individual members are invited to our regularly scheduled events, typically at no charge per event, submit articles for our newsletter, apply to speak at events, update their professional profiles in the members-only section of our website and network with colleagues in the field.

$25 Student membership - student members receive a discount from our individual membership and all benefits of individual membership. Valid proof of full-time status is required.

Fee Waived for Internship memberships - student internships memberships enable interns to join, participate in and network with SIETAR Metro New York at no fee. Please discuss and apply for Internship memberships directly with a Board member.

- Ability to upload a biography with photo
- Ability to post resume and access job opportunities
- Invitation to five programming events including cultural and networking activities
- Free or discounted rates to all of our regularly scheduled events, workshops and partner events
- Ability to register for membership and events at your convenience: online application and automated email event registration confirmations and event reminders
- Connect with other members and non-members via online Address Book
- Share intercultural resources and promote the intercultural field with online feature that allows non-members to join our mailing list
- Opportunity to be featured on our new Member Spotlight section

Who are members of SIETAR Metro New York?
- We invite anybody interested in intercultural issues to join SIETAR Metro New York.
- Our members typically include representatives from private sector, nonprofits, universities, young professionals, and academics.
- Many have, or are studying for, degrees in international relations, business, anthropology, area studies, language studies, or training/organizational development.
- If you are new to the intercultural field you may want to check out books by Edward Hall, Geert Hofstede, and Fons Trompenaars. Their ideas often form the basis for the presentations and discussions at our meetings.
